Ryan Garcia Defends WBC Title Against Conor Benn on Paramount Plus
Ryan Garcia puts the WBC welterweight title on the line against Conor Benn tonight at T-Mobile Arena, and Zuffa Boxing is sending the card out worldwide on Paramount+ and DAZN. The main event is a 12-round world championship fight on Mexican Independence Day weekend in Las Vegas.
The promotion’s own graphic calls it a World Welterweight Championship and lists Saturday, September 12, with a 5 p.m. PT main-card start. That is the window Zuffa Boxing and the official accounts are pointing fans toward under the #GarciaBenn tag.
Garcia won the belt from Mario Barrios in February and is making the first defense. He entered the week 25-2 with 20 knockouts. Benn came in 25-1 with 14 knockouts and a chance to win a world title in the United States, something his father Nigel Benn once did.
Both men made weight. Garcia hit 145.5 pounds. Benn came in at 146. The fight is on.
Paramount+ is the home for the United States, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Latin America, Australia, and Germany. There is no separate pay-per-view charge in those territories for subscribers. Prelims start at 2 p.m. PT. The main card follows at 5 p.m. PT.
DAZN has the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, the Philippines, Italy, and the Netherlands. UK and Ireland viewers are looking at a 1 a.m. Sunday main-card start local time, with ring walks later than that if the undercard goes long.

The co-main is another championship. Unbeaten Jai Opetaia meets Noel Mikaelian over 12 rounds for cruiserweight titles tied to Zuffa Boxing and The Ring. Heavyweight and lightweight bouts fill the rest of the televised main card, with more six- and eight-round fights on the prelims.
This is the same Saturday as Noche UFC in Glendale. Combat sports is running two major cards on one holiday weekend, one in Arizona and one on the Strip. Garcia versus Benn is the boxing half of that stack.
The tone from the official posts is that the action is already rolling. Zuffa Boxing’s caption framed the Las Vegas night as the next live window after the UFC stream, not a separate pay wall in the Paramount+ countries.
Garcia is the champion and the betting favorite. Benn is the challenger who avenged his only loss and beat a former world champion to get here. Neither man needs a preview speech at this hour. The streams are open, the weights are in, and the first bell on the main card is set for 5 p.m. Pacific.
