Ckari Cani Mansilla Returns to UK Against Shabaz Masoud in Manchester
Ckari Cani Mansilla is coming back to Britain for the first time since the knockout that made him a DAZN clip. The Argentine meets unbeaten Shabaz Masoud on Sept. 19 at Co-op Live in Manchester, with vacant IBF Inter-Continental and WBA International featherweight titles on the line.
The card is John Hedges versus Patrick Brown for the vacant British and Commonwealth cruiserweight titles, live on DAZN. Masoud has billed the fight as a co-main event in his own city region.
Mansilla’s only previous UK appearance was May 16, 2025, at Vaillant Live in Derby on MF & DAZN X Series 21. He stopped previously unbeaten Dylan Price with a right hand at 2:42 of round eight.
Price walked in 19-0 and a massive favorite. Mansilla was the imported opponent, and the finish flipped the room.
The punch dropped Price flat on the Prime logo. The referee’s count reached the late numbers while Price tried to rise, and the Argentine was already walking the ring.
“Huge left hand,” the DAZN call said as Price hit the floor. “Can Dylan Price answer this call?”
He could not. Mansilla jumped into his corner’s arms in tears while Price was still being checked.
That night is the tape Manchester will see all week. It is also the reason this booking is not a quiet stay-busy date.
Mansilla is 19-4 with 13 knockouts after a June win in Cordoba. The 34-year-old from Cordoba is orthodox and has spent most of his career at super bantamweight and featherweight.
Three of his four losses came against unbeaten or near-unbeaten opposition. The Price knockout is the result that traveled.
Masoud is 15-0 with four knockouts and has never been beaten as a professional. The 30-year-old from Rochdale, based in Stoke-on-Trent and trained by Ben Davison, is moving up from super bantamweight.
His last fight was a December unanimous decision over Peter McGrail in Monte Carlo for the vacant European super-bantamweight title. Before that he took the IBO belt from Liam Davies on a split decision in Birmingham.
Masoud already held WBA Inter-Continental hardware at 122 pounds. Saturday is a step to 126 and a pair of vacant regional belts that keep him in the world-title conversation if he wins.
The styles do not match on paper. Masoud wins long rounds and makes opponents miss. Mansilla needs the same kind of clean shot he landed in Derby.
That is why the clip still matters. Price was supposed to handle him, and one right hand ended an unbeaten record in front of a British crowd.
Masoud will be the home fighter in Manchester. Mansilla will be the man who already knocked someone out on this side of the Atlantic.
Eddie Hearn’s cruiserweight title fight is the reason the arena is booked. The featherweight co-feature is the reason the undercard has a finisher with proof.
Neither man has a world title on the line. The IBF Inter-Continental and WBA International belts are stepping-stone championships, and the winner leaves with a ranking argument rather than a world strap.
Mansilla has not fought in Britain since that eighth-round stoppage. Saturday is the first time UK fans will see whether the Derby punch was a one-off or a warning.
The fight is scheduled for 10 rounds. Weigh-ins and final details will come later in the week, but the date and venue are set.
Co-op Live hosts Hedges-Brown on Sept. 19. Mansilla and Masoud are the reason the featherweight division has a stake in the same building.
