Islam Dulatov Offers Kaik Brito $5K Bonus After Namo Fazil Knockout
Islam Dulatov is putting his own money behind Kaik Brito’s highlight. The UFC welterweight says he is sending the Brazilian a $5,000 bonus for knocking out Namo Fazil on Dana White’s Contender Series.
Dulatov posted the message after Tuesday’s main event at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas. He congratulated Brito, then turned the moment into a pointed reply aimed at Fazil.
“Congratulations on your huge win. I think our princess is humbled now.”
The offer came with a practical explanation. Dulatov said Contender Series does not pay UFC performance bonuses, so his family would cover a $5,000 payout and send it once Brito shared his bank details.
He stressed that the money was real and meant to go out immediately. The video framed the gift as a reward for the knockout and a public answer to Fazil.
Brito stopped Fazil at 0:12 of Round 3 with an overhand right. The finish earned the former two-time Oktagon champion a UFC contract on his second Contender Series appearance.
Fazil fell to 10-2 and saw a seven-fight winning streak end. He had entered the bout as one of the louder names on the Season 10, Week 2 card after submitting Jake Babian on MVP MMA’s Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano show in May.
Dulatov’s interest was not random. In the days before the fight, Fazil took personal shots at the German welterweight, mocking his modeling background and questioning whether he belonged on the UFC roster.
“No model motherf*er should be a f*ing UFC fighter,” Fazil said.
He also called Dulatov soft and feminine in the same interview. That is the context behind the “princess” line that followed Fazil’s knockout loss.
Dulatov, nicknamed “The Ripper,” is 12-1 as a professional and 1-0 in the UFC. He earned his own roster spot on Contender Series and knocked out Adam Fugitt in the first round of his debut at UFC 318 in July 2025.
The 6-foot-3 striker has a fashion-world past as a former Versace model. Fazil used that background as material in the buildup.
Dulatov is still waiting on a second UFC fight. He was removed from a July bout with Wellington Turman because of illness.
His $5,000 pledge fills a real gap on the show. Contender Series winners can leave with a contract, but they do not receive the Performance of the Night checks that appear on numbered UFC cards.
A private bonus from a rostered fighter is unusual, and it also keeps a welterweight grudge in public view. Dulatov’s nickname for Fazil made the scoreboard personal without turning the video into a formal callout.
Brito has not publicly confirmed that the money has landed. Until he does, Dulatov’s message remains a promise attached to a request for payment details.
The Brazilian’s next step is a UFC debut that has not been booked. Dulatov also has no confirmed return date after the Turman fight came off.
For now, the loudest voice around Fazil’s loss belongs to another welterweight. Dulatov used $5,000 and one pointed nickname to make sure Kaik Brito’s knockout of Namo Fazil was remembered as more than a Contender Series finish.
