Antonia Prifti Wins ONE Debut Decision Over Ameline Gerson
Antonia Prifti won her ONE Championship debut by unanimous decision over Ameline Gerson in strawweight kickboxing at ONE Friday Fights 171.
The Greek fighter went the full three rounds on Friday at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok and took every scorecard.
ONE listed the result as a unanimous decision after round three.
This was not the debut originally planned. Prifti had been booked to challenge atomweight kickboxing champion Phetjeeja at The Inner Circle 28 on Aug. 28, then that title fight was pulled.
The Friday Fights date against Gerson became her first official night in the promotion.
Prifti entered as the far more decorated name. The 25-year-old from Athens trains at Fight Club Galatsi with Theofanous Elite Team and fights as “The Panther.”
She is a former K-1 women’s flyweight champion after beating Kana in December 2023, then dropped that belt to SAHO by decision in Tokyo in March 2024.
She later won the IFP world strawweight title against Tessa De Kom and captured an ISKA Oriental rules world featherweight belt.
Her kickboxing record sat in the mid-20s in wins before Friday, with a handful of knockouts and three losses.
Gerson represented Belgium and was the away fighter in a three-round strawweight kickboxing match built to test whether Prifti’s European title résumé would travel to Lumpinee.
It did, at least on the cards. There was no stoppage, and the judges did not split.
A debut decision is quieter than the title shot that disappeared in August. It still gives Prifti a win on the books in the building where ONE develops new roster names.
The same Bangkok card also produced a second-round knockout for Alex Usieto and a decision for Ryusuke Onodera.
Prifti’s result is the one that resets her ONE path. She is no longer waiting on a postponed championship date. She has a win and a tape from Lumpinee.
That matters because women’s strawweight and atomweight kickboxing in ONE runs through Phetjeeja. A clean debut is the minimum required before that conversation opens again.
Gerson now has a documented loss on the Friday Fights stage. The Belgian came in as an opponent tasked with making Prifti work three rounds, and she did that without finding a finish.
ONE has not announced a follow-up for either woman. Another strawweight kickboxing date is the realistic next step if the promotion wants to see Prifti against a different style before any title talk returns.
Friday answered the first question. The Greek champion can win in Bangkok. The next question is who ONE puts in front of her after a unanimous decision in her debut.
