Arman Tsarukyan Reveals Financial Independence From Father Since 2019
Arman Tsarukyan has made clear that he stopped relying on his father’s money years ago and now supports him instead.
The No. 2 ranked UFC lightweight shared details of his business dealings during a recent interview. Tsarukyan, who holds a 23-3 record, discussed the last time family funds played a role in his life.
He pointed to the purchase of a Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 as the cutoff. “Most likely, when I bought the GLS 63,” Tsarukyan said. “Yeah that’s when it happened.”
The interviewer asked whether his father remained financially involved in his career. Tsarukyan responded directly. “I’ve been my own money since 2019.”
He added that the dynamic has reversed. “Now I give him a lot. I’m paying him back.”
Tsarukyan credited natural ability rather than formal lessons for his financial success. Asked if his father ever offered business advice, he replied, “I never really asked… And I’ve had the business instinct since childhood. I know how to make money.”
He described early real estate moves made as a teenager. “When I was 18 or 19 I was in the real estate market already. I would tell my dad where to get an apartment. He would send the money, we would buy them.”
Those properties appreciated sharply. One apartment, he noted through the conversation, is now worth 10 times its original price. “I had an instinct for the right location since I was a kid,” Tsarukyan said.
He explained the process further. “Because I have this gut feeling for the right place. I analyzed too. I knew where all the city capital would shift later in the future.”
Land purchases followed the same pattern. “I bought land for dirt cheap. And then land price multiplied x15. Land is a great investment opportunity.”
Tsarukyan clarified that his father works in construction rather than pure real estate. “No, he is in the construction business,” he said. “On top of that he builds houses for himself too.”
The comments arrive as Tsarukyan prepares for a high-stakes return to the Octagon. He last competed under the UFC banner in November 2025, submitting Dan Hooker in the second round. A rematch with Charles Oliveira is set for UFC 331 on September 19 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The five-round lightweight bout carries no BMF title implications. Tsarukyan enters on a five-fight UFC winning streak and continues to sit directly behind champion Justin Gaethje in the rankings.
His willingness to discuss personal finances underscores a fighter who has built independence both inside and outside the cage. With the Oliveira rematch approaching, Tsarukyan’s focus remains on the lightweight title picture while managing investments that began long before his UFC career.
