Dricus Du Plessis and Kamaru Usman Make Weight, UFC Oklahoma City Main Event Official

The UFC Oklahoma City main event is officially set after both Dricus Du Plessis and Kamaru Usman successfully made weight during Friday’s official weigh-ins.

Du Plessis, the reigning middleweight champion, was the first athlete to step onto the scale and came in at 185.5 pounds. Usman, the former welterweight champion moving up to 185 pounds, followed shortly after and weighed 186 pounds, making their highly anticipated middleweight showdown official.

The co-main event was also confirmed without issue. Former title challenger Jared Cannonier weighed 185 pounds, while the remaining athletes on the card successfully cleared the final hurdle before fight night.

Among the notable results, women’s strawweight contenders Tabatha Ricci and Fatima Kline both made championship weight, registering 116 pounds and 115.5 pounds, respectively. In the featherweight division, Tommy McMillen, Jose Miguel Delgado, Damian Anderson, and Alberto Montes all weighed 146 pounds, while Austin Bashi checked in at 145 pounds.

Middleweight prospect Christian Leroy Duncan matched Du Plessis at 185.5 pounds, while the heavyweight division featured two of the biggest athletes on the card. RJ Harris weighed 262.5 pounds, and Alvin Hines came in at 264 pounds. At light heavyweight, Levi Rodriguez officially weighed 206 pounds, with Felipe Franco coming in at 205 pounds.

Elsewhere on the card, Chase Hooper registered 157.5 pounds, Ezra Elliott weighed 147.5 pounds, Sakon Co came in at 169 pounds, Mitch Ramirez weighed 155.5 pounds, and Jean Paul Lebosnoyani tipped the scales at 171 pounds.

The lighter divisions also completed the weigh-in process successfully. Anna Melisano, Alden Cora, and Stewart Nicoll each weighed 126 pounds, while Dione Barbosa came in at 125 pounds.

With every scheduled fighter successfully making weight, the focus now shifts from the scales to the Octagon. The headline bout between Du Plessis and Usman is now official, setting the stage for one of the most anticipated middleweight fights of the year. As the fighters begin rehydrating and making their final preparations, fans can now look forward to a full night of action with no weigh-in drama standing in the way.
